About Pathwork

The Pathwork is a spiritual journey of self-facing that includes a deep form of Shadow work, wherein one faces what lives inside that is not conscious, both the dark and debilitating side as well as the unseen qualities. The Pathwork process is one way to achieve a higher quality of life, more fulfilling relationships, and a sense of your place in the world and the cosmos. The Pathwork blends psychology and spirituality through many modalites, from reading, to meditation, dialogue, writing, and many others. It emphasizes the importance of recognizing, accepting, learning to know and ultimately transforming the Lower Self or shadow side of human nature, by understanding it. The Pathwork tries to help people understand that through honest self-examination, with carefully applied tools and practices, they can overcome and remove the inner obstacles that keep them from living fully from and in their Godself, their true nature.

The Pathwork Press, a division of the International Pathwork Foundation offers a variety of books, music, and other products to support your spiritual practice. Please browse the Pathwork Store. Is Pathwork a religion? The Pathwork is not dogmatic, has no required belief system and does not ask that people abandon religious practices or beliefs that nurture and support them. It does ask them to be willing to examine their beliefs. There is no living central leader or authority in Pathwork, but many leaders and helpers world wide. Costs are comparable to other forms of support and community, and tithing is not encouraged. Pathwork is a way of growing and evolving.
